Cette interruption s&rsquo;inscrit dans la continuit\u00e9 des travaux essentiels du projet d&rsquo;expansion \u00c9tape 2, qui prolongera \u00e9ventuellement notre syst\u00e8me de train l\u00e9ger vers l&rsquo;est, l&rsquo;ouest et le sud.<\/p>\n<p>Hier, \u00e0 la station Tunney&rsquo;s Pasture, l&rsquo;ambiance \u00e9tait mitig\u00e9e parmi les navetteurs. \u00ab Pas encore \u00bb, a soupir\u00e9 Maria Kowalski, une fonctionnaire f\u00e9d\u00e9rale qui compte sur le train pour ses quarts de travail du week-end. \u00ab Je comprends pourquoi ils le font, mais les autobus de remplacement prennent deux fois plus de temps. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>La fermeture durera toute la journ\u00e9e de service dimanche, avec un service d&rsquo;autobus <b>R1<\/b> de remplacement qui desservira l&rsquo;ensemble du trajet, de la station Tunney&rsquo;s Pasture \u00e0 la station Blair. Les responsables d&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.octranspo.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">OC Transpo<\/a> ont confirm\u00e9 que ces autobus tenteront de reproduire la fr\u00e9quence des trains, mais ils avertissent les voyageurs de pr\u00e9voir des temps de trajet plus longs.<\/p>\n<p>Il s&rsquo;agit de la cinqui\u00e8me fermeture d&rsquo;une journ\u00e9e compl\u00e8te au cours des derniers mois, dans le cadre d&rsquo;un effort coordonn\u00e9 pour int\u00e9grer le syst\u00e8me existant \u00e0 l&rsquo;ambitieuse expansion de l&rsquo;\u00c9tape 2. Le directeur des services de transport de la Ville, Troy Charter, a expliqu\u00e9 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de ces perturbations.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Ces fermetures planifi\u00e9es permettent aux \u00e9quipes d&rsquo;effectuer en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des travaux critiques qui ne peuvent simplement pas \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9s pendant que les trains circulent \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Charter. \u00ab Nous travaillons \u00e0 minimiser les inconv\u00e9nients tout en veillant \u00e0 ce que le syst\u00e8me \u00e9largi r\u00e9ponde \u00e0 toutes les normes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et d&rsquo;exploitation. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Le projet <b>\u00c9tape 2<\/b> repr\u00e9sente un investissement de 4,6 milliards de dollars qui ajoutera 44 kilom\u00e8tres de voie et 24 nouvelles stations d&rsquo;ici 2026. Le prolongement est atteindra le chemin Trim, tandis que le service ouest s&rsquo;\u00e9tendra jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la promenade Moodie et au <a href=\"https:\/\/www.algonquincollege.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Coll\u00e8ge Algonquin<\/a>. Le prolongement sud de la Ligne Trillium reliera Riverside Sud et l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yow.ca\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">A\u00e9roport international d&rsquo;Ottawa<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Pour les voyageurs du dimanche, OC Transpo recommande de pr\u00e9voir 30 minutes suppl\u00e9mentaires pour les d\u00e9placements.
