Apr\u00e8s des mois de candidatures et de d\u00e9lib\u00e9rations, la Ville de Calgary a annonc\u00e9 hier les b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires de <b>30 millions de dollars<\/b> de fonds pour le logement abordable, ciblant une crise qui a laiss\u00e9 des milliers de Calgariens en difficult\u00e9 pour se loger.<\/p>\n<p>En assistant \u00e0 l&rsquo;annonce \u00e0 l&rsquo;h\u00f4tel de ville hier, l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re \u00e9tait charg\u00e9e d&rsquo;un optimisme prudent. La mairesse Jyoti Gondek, qui a fait du logement abordable une pierre angulaire de son administration, n&rsquo;a pas m\u00e2ch\u00e9 ses mots sur l&rsquo;urgence de la situation.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Cet investissement repr\u00e9sente bien plus que de simples b\u00e2timents,\u00a0\u00bb a expliqu\u00e9 Gondek, d\u00e9signant les rendus architecturaux expos\u00e9s sur des chevalets derri\u00e8re elle. \u00ab\u00a0Ce sont des investissements dans la stabilit\u00e9, la dignit\u00e9 et dans l&rsquo;avenir de Calgary comme une ville o\u00f9 tout le monde peut se permettre de vivre.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Le financement, tir\u00e9 du <a href=\"#\">Programme d&rsquo;incitation au logement<\/a> de la ville \u00e9tabli en 2021, soutiendra six organismes \u00e0 but non lucratif dans la cr\u00e9ation de <b>278 nouveaux logements abordables<\/b> \u00e0 travers Calgary.
